Six-voice polysynth
RI-106
A faithful recreation of a classic 1980s six-voice polysynth. One oscillator per voice, a smooth 24 dB resonant filter, and the bucket-brigade stereo chorus that made the sound famous, rebuilt to behave like the original down to the detail. Simple to play, quick to program, and at home on pads, basses, stabs and leads.

What it does

One oscillator, four sources
Saw, pulse, sub-oscillator and noise, each with its own level. Pulse width can be moved by hand, by the LFO, or by the envelope in either direction.

Filters
A resonant low-pass filter driven by the envelope, the LFO, the keyboard and velocity, and a high-pass filter to thin out the low end.

Chorus
A stereo chorus with several modes. It is a big part of the sound, from gentle width to deep, moving ensembles.

LFO and envelope
An LFO with a delayed fade-in, key trigger and tempo sync from 8 bars to 1/64, and one ADSR envelope for the filter and amplifier.

Arpeggiator
Four patterns over one to three octaves, with hold, gate length and fifteen note values including dotted and triplet rates. It follows your DAW's tempo and bar grid.

Performance
Poly and unison modes with adjustable detune, glide, velocity, sustain pedal, pitch bend and mod wheel, MIDI channel select and master tune.

Pads, basses, leads, keys, arpeggios and more, sorted into categories, with your own patches saved alongside them.

A panel you can read
Every control is on one screen, laid out like the front of an instrument. The on-screen keyboard follows the octave you play in.
